Women and girls around the world suffer daily from abuse and violence. Many of them remain silent due to fear or shame.

This violence and abuse is in the majority of the cases physical and/or sexual such as: female genital mutilation (over 100 million), forced to marry between the ages of 12 and 18 (more than 60 million are child brides), sexually assaulted (50% of cases are against girls under 16) and trafficked for sexual exploitation and/or domestic servitude (80% of all people trafficked).

We need to stand together and help make a change.
